St. Tammany Master Gardener Association
ABOUT US
St. Tammany Master Gardener Association represents a group of individuals who have gained knowledge of horticulture and gardening by completing the LSU AgCenter's Louisiana Master Gardener program. One great benefit of this knowledge is the ability to improve and beautify our individual gardens. But the benefits don't stop there. Our members are continually involved in numerous teaching and educational projects over the St. Tammany Parish community.
These projects include designing, maintaining and teaching at gardens in schools, hospitals, elderly care, and community centers; sharing information at local farmer's markets; designing, planting and educating new homeowners in conjunction with the local Habitat for Humanity. That's just a sampling of our activities...there's lots more.

We also host two informative horticultural seminars, one each spring and another each fall. These seminars are offered at a nominal fee to master gardeners and to the general public.
As a Master Gardener, you may also participate in a number of exclusive field trips and educational lectures offered throughout the year.
We encourage you to attend our events to help support our activities. Go to the Projects and the Events pages to learn more.
